It is really designed for oils and acrylics.

Re: Help build the WC! Virtual Palette! :)

I really like this tool. I would like to know where the 'saved' colours are stored and in which format, so I can locate them on my PC. Does anyone know the answer?

Thank you

Sorry I can't help with this. You can retrieve your saved colours with the dropdown at the top but I don't know where they are stored on the wc servers.

Have you tried the Colr Theory forum?

This is really a great idea. I enjoyed mixing the colors there and I know that this will be useful.

Icy pink? A small dab of cadmium red with a sizable mound of titanium white. Very user friendly.

Even with its stated limitations I think this is a really great tool. I especially like the related value scale which is helpful for people like me who struggle with them. Well done youarty-nerdy types who can do this kind of thing!

This is a wonderful tool. Thanks for the wonderful efforts.
I often wish to find a color match to an existing color, since I have
repaired/restored old paintings that has been damaged.

I realize how old this thread but hope you realize how very useful this is. For every day you haven’t heard a ‘“Thank You,” please remember you are miles away; there is no day that goes by without many people heaving a giant sigh of relief and appreciation for this valuable tool. Thank you, Scott, thank you, thank you, thank you.......(add at least one per day!)
