leonardo live

what do you guys think about leonardo live, the movie that is coming out guiding people through the da vinci show who can't see the show. It has already come out in england, and is coming out across the world on feb. 16th. I have mixed feelings about the whole concept, even though I still want to see it (the first day it comes out).

Hails from New Zealand
Re: leonardo live

To access limited exhibitions from distant locations (and almost everywhere is distant from Aotearoa) I have had to rely on either the internet or printed catalogues. I am looking forward to the film.

Re: leonardo live

I agree, but I am not sure that it will be much different then viewing from a computer screen. I have researched the film a lot, and there is a lot of info about it going to New Zealand, yet there is no way to get tickets in the USA (yet...I have checked fandango). Reviews in England say that it takes away seeing the art on such a big screen.

Re: leonardo live

I've heard of this film, but am not sure what I'd think of it. I'm lucky - living in Britain I saw the exhibition itself! I would like to know if the film could possibly reveal some of the intriguing points I noticed, because I didn't spot them first time round.

Re: leonardo live

oh my gosh! i am beyond jealous you saw the show! beyond jealous!
hmmm...not sure the film revealed much. it was the nearest i could get to the exhibition, but a lot of the dialogue was pretty meaningless!
i still loved it all the same!
