Bren Gun Carrier

Bren Gun Carrier at Loch Benachally near Dunkeld. The area was used for Military Training during WW2.For many years a derelict Carrier was left at the Loch. This is the same location as the Typhoons pic and is the final paining of 10 commissions for the same person.

Re: Bren Gan Carrier

Thanks Neil. It’s a long time since I painted an AFV. I remember buying ' Terrance Cuneo's 'Tanks and How to Draw Them' ( Still have it )I think I was still at school. I have quite a few of the old 'How To Draw' series. I think they were about 5/-!

One of my earliest memories was of our next door neighbor's son coming home 'from the War' he was KOSB. We were living in a Tenement in Leith at the time, and I must have been about 4or5 years old.
