Wow, this is amazing; it appears there is so much time spent to detail in ths way of rendering a portrait. Is it hard on your eyes?

Stunning stuff Lorna

How nice it is to see the actual WIP and justifies the artist does have talent when it comes to proof.

Well done indeed.

"Lol! I wondered what prompted the resurrection of this thread. This is the second time I've seen it come back after a long spell."

I haven't been getting any notification for this thread...I apologize for not getting here sooner to thank you lovely people for your very appreciated comments!

The reason I was here today is that I am looking the article I wrote about this piece and I can't find it...oooohh! I just remembered I had it saved in my favorites!!

Thanks again everyone!

Re: Joseph- a scratch portrait WIP

Hi Lorna
this is one of the most interesting creative inspirations I have seen for a while. I will be giving this a try for sure I love portraiture myself but never looked at scratchboarding as a means to show such talent. Looked at your site too and your are really a wonderful artist. Its a pleasure to see your work. Really heartly well done. Nice to see talent at work
kind regards
