Re: FIXED AGAIN! What kind of glass do you have?

Hi,
I'll vote and let you in on how pitiful my glass stash is.
I have:
Moretti
Vetrofond Clear (a few rods)
Some inexpensive recycled glass I got off ebay to play around with.

That's it. I am just starting my bead making journey and haven't got much glass. I hate being poor. Oh well. I'll get it a little at a time when I can. Now you know.

In addition to Moretti and Bullseye, I am trying Uroburos sys 96. Have to make up my mind as to which I like best, as I want to do some fusing too.

*Update*
I have gotten some more glass since this thread was started and I just wanted everyone to know I am not as pitiful as I used to be. I have bought a decent assortment of moretti and some of Val's gaffer cane. I have some Uroboros sytem 96, and some bullseye along with lots of other goodies to play and experiment with now too, which has been given to me from a RAGK and some PIF's. If it weren't for the kindness from all you great WC-ers who remember what it's like to just get started I would still have a very pathetic stash. I am so grateful to be able to finally make beads and to try out the other glasses available. I'm on my way to a decent beadmakers stock of supplies! Now if someone could figure out how to RAK me some more torch time I'd really be set! Any one want to baby sit a strong willed 2 yr old for a while? Just kidding, he'd never go for it.

Re: FIXED AGAIN! What kind of glass do you have?

I have mostly Moretti and a lauscha clear. I do have a bit of bullseye that was gifted to me and 1 lb of gaffer shorts. I'm getting a bigger torch from Santa so I'm looking forward to trying other types of glass. Mostly my glass choices are by price- so Boro and some of the other pricier rods will be waiting until my beads are good enough to support my art!

I also have Wissmach, Bullseye, Flashed, Armstrong, St. Just, Freemont, GNA, Optimum, Pilkington, Oceana, Float, Gaffer, Pyrex, Dichroic coated 96, 90 & 104, and Moretti Sheet Glass. Can't have an artglass studio without a big variety.
