Re: Scavenger Hunt 621 Feb 9 - Feb 17

Happy Valentine's Day!
Hope to sketch something. We will see.

NedL, mmm I love pepper. Well done. And the watercolors. Ha, I drew Gene's and my hands in a heart a while back and put 5 fingers and a thumb. It just looked right!

Ned, thanks about "actual", I didn't know that. Then maybe "actual" is not a false friend, just a very unreliable one . Nice sketches of the pepper and the watercolors! About multiplying these last ones, it's a sign, you are seeing watercolors everywhere, your subconscious is telling you to use them

Jo, good one with the Lamy pen! One extra finger in each hand I guess that would be useful for those of you using inches and feet. Here we use the metric system and are quite happy with just the ten 10 fingers

individuo, thanks. :-)

I sketched in the big book in the garage using the hood of the car for a table. Prismacolor 05 that is about worn out so the soft lines.

Re: Scavenger Hunt 621 Feb 9 - Feb 17

Jo, nice ladders. Which one do you use the most?

1-watercolors (watercolor pencils in a tin) - two water brushes, one filled with ink and the other one with water.
The real tin has 12 pencils but there are only 10 in my sketch . It was on purpose, but only after having sketched the tin too narrow to put 12 pencils in it, or so I thought. I wasn't going to use water either, but I had to in order to avoid an even messier result.

#622 is up http://www.wetcanvas.com/forums/show....php?t=1477332. But remember that you have one more day to play here in #621.

Ned, thanks. Have fun with the waterbrushes . In the photograph of your watercolors there are two blues, two yellows and two reds. What color is the seventh one?

Jo, thanks.

EP, thanks. Love your sketch! Very well done and very pleasant.

2-Texture (Kiwi) - ink (with the toothpick, still the same one)

Jo & all: Great sketches, you all. I have been under the weather: slowly working and resting. But I manage a humble one using MicrosoftPaint on my office computer. I hope to do more in next Hunt.

#1 forefinger -- a digi. drawn using a mouse with MicrosoftPaint.

#2 texture -- a jammy short in floral patterns -- a digi. drawn using a mouse with MicrosoftPaint

EP, you know I love your blue sketch. Nice job on the chess pieces. We don't have a chess set anymore. Only board game we have is Scrabble, but I haven't done that yet.

individuo, I'm so impressed with the toothpick sketches. Perfect for the Kiwi.

Ai, hope you are feeling better. Crud is going around all over, you probably caught it from me! Love the brilliant colored hand and pjs. I'm smiling.

Pine Cone, nice to see you whenever. I like the flower petal study. Nice shapes.
