Re: Scavenger Hunt #620 - Feb 1 - Feb 9

You are a busy bunch!

Ned - good C clamp drawing and thanks for including the photo with your palm so we can see the size. Cool about the Rancho Petaluma Adobe - great sketch and photo and link to an article

Jo - is that the view from your breakfast table? Beautiful! Thank you for the photo of your coffee table book - you mention it often but now I can actually see it A Two dollar bill is rare, hey? We used to have a $1 and $2 bill up here in Canada but they are now loonies and twonies How cool to have nested bowls upside down!!

Joe - yay for toned paper! I see Stillman and Birn have a trio book that has some grey pages, some black pages, and some tan pages? https://www.stillmanandbirn.com/blog/?p=2793 Whee look at that flute! And photo with the stand (there are bears at the top of the vertical supports!)

individuo - good job on the window and the arched desk lamp. You are getting so skilled wielding the water brush with ink

See you in the next hunt.

Ned, thanks. You did well on the ranch . If the ink is not waterproof, then you are right about not being sure to use it with watercolors, although it might be possible to use it to one's advantage (not that I know how), trying doesn't hurt.

Jo, thanks. Nice idea and nicely done on the bowls! Are those the bowls you sketched with pastels in the previous event?

Pine Cone, thanks. Zebra legs! Hadn't thought of that.

EP, thanks. Although I'm not that skilled, my control might be improving but the key is that I just choose simple objects

KarmArt, thank you very much for this event. I had fun. We know you are busy, so don't worry about not being able to participate much. Just drop by with a sketch whenever you feel like it and have the time

See you all in the next one!

Pine Cone, hi there. :-)

EP, yes, the view on the westerly side of the bay window. I think they printed a bunch of $2 a few years ago and people saved them so now you don't see too many. I have a couple of toonies someplace.

individuo, same bowls. I turned the pastel upside down on my blog but it doesn't work too well with the plate on it. Ha. I was going to cheat.
