Licensing?

An old army colleague asked me to paint an 8x10 watercolor M1114 Humvee. He’s wants to use the image on a certificate of some kind.

In selling him the painting I don’t want to give up my copyright.

Do any of you have experience with licensing an image for limited use?

Any advice would be appreciated.

BTW - this is the WIP. I will finish tomorrow with the rear tire, the gun, and a few other minor details. C&C welcome.

Thomas

Re: Licensing?

You might take your question to the Art Business Center. They have a Legal Forum.
