Re: Scavenger Hunt #610: Nov 13 - 21

KarmArt, thanks. Great job on the nice mask!

Joe, great candles, like the one you did not long ago with the ebony pencil. Are those controlled by the remote? In most churches over here the candles are electronic (except two or three in the altar) but in my village's church we still use wax candles only

Two quick messy ones, I am at a loss with hatching in ink and rushing doesn't help
2- makes you sing (shower) - ink (fountain pen)
3- jagged (mouse's wheel) - ink (fountain pen)

individuo, thanks. So clever on the makes you sing!! Nice find on the jagged on the mouse. Your hatching looks good to me.

Joe, thanks, a rare rainstorm in New Mexico.

KarmArt, nice on the mask with your inks, no less. Cool...

Joe, you make the flames look like they are flickering. Love the shapes of the candles.

I borrowed Mary's mask for my bright, too. Number 8. It is fun doing the same things from a different perspective and style. I used Prismacolor pens and colored pencil.

Jo: Love the landscape pan pastel. So glowing. Beautiful bright mask. Good ink drawing of buttons on shirt sleeve. I got some pan pastel from Kirvin too but the colors seem to be in variety of gray shades. However, the sponge applicators were too old and the sponge got disintigrated. So I am hoping to get some local eye-shadow applicators to do the job instead. I will let you know how it goes.

Karmart -- Love the pillow and the beautiful fun mask.

Joe: Thanks. Lovely graphite sketches in variety of button shapes and sweet pastel pencil candles. Well done.

Individuo - I think your interpretations are clever and the hatching looks great to me.

Jo - you got some eye popping colors going there. Nice job.

KarmArt - speaking of ‘cozy’ think you nailed it with that pillow. Making me think about a nap.

Thanks to all for the kind words.

Keep sketching
Joe

Sorry I didn't get to take part or comment on this hunt. I've been busy...but I am hosting the next hunt. Since it is now 12:13 AM here in NY I am posting the new hunt before I go to bed. Sorry but I can't get the link to work here. Hope to see you in the new hunt.

One last entry...
6 wide
7 narrow
Assortment of grades of graphite in multi-media pad.
Trying to get multiple shades of metalic gray for effect. Think it came close but paper was too textured for what I was going for. Bristol vellum would probably have worked better.

Keep sketching

Hi everyone! Can’t believe we’re about to start a new SH. It’s been so fun!

Joe-your knives look very realistic, great job on shadow and color

Here is what I did yesterday for my final sketch for #610

#10 “one button”. I love video games so I did an old school joystick. Dual tip brush pens and #3 ink pen on the other half of the pillow 7X10 sheet.

Thanks everybody.

Jo, beautiful mask!

KarmArt, lovely soft pillow and cool joystick that brings back some good memories.

Joe, greatly done on those knives!

EP, thank you very much for hosting twice in a row. Couldn't participate as much as would have liked but it was fun, thank you.

See you all in the next one.

Joe, the knives look so good ... and scary. Don’t know why they affect me that way. Nice job.

KarmArt, Mary, good job on the joy stick. I like the hatching.

EP, Thanks for the Hunt.
