Re: INKTOBER 2019: For participants and followers!

I'm loving patrikeev's cats! Very imaginative ronsu18!

I'm not following prompts but rather my own concept. Here's today's.

Re: INKTOBER 2019: For participants and followers!

Patrileev - great start, I really like the cats.

Ronsu18 - I like it, the soft colours are nice.

Michael - interesting, I like it. I enjoyed your entries last year (I read through the thread yesterday).

I've done mine for today, using the prompt. I'll post it tomorrow.

Re: INKTOBER 2019: For participants and followers!

Ron, that's a good one! Very clever.

Fede, that looks hard!! Such an elegant swirl.

Patrikeev, speaking of elegant, your cat is so simple but so so elegant.

Ronsu, another clever ring and with color to boot, well done!!

Michael, wonderful lines, your shading is right on, I love the portrait in the back sticking its tongue out.

Here's my first. Quack. Dip pen 5x5 inches, with a touch of color at the throat put on with a brush.

Here's my "ring." A Ringwraith from Lord of the Rings:

Bit off more than I could chew today, and the hatching got a little out of control. I'll have to go smaller and simpler for the others if I'm to have a chance at doing all 31 flavors.

Re: INKTOBER 2019: For participants and followers!

8.25x5.25 Pitt pen and India ink applied with a wooden chopstick done today for first day of InkTober 2019 in my grunge journal. The prompt for today was the word 'ring' so I selected this magnificent musician, former drummer for the Beatles, Richard Starkey.

Everyone's works looks magnificent so far! Already started on the 'mindless' prompt for tomorrow

Re: INKTOBER 2019: For participants and followers!

Either I stick with the official prompt with some variations or I come up with something random. I will see.

For now, I wanted keep with the hand studies from observation. Here is, RING in American Sing Language. Further infos in my website.

Sharpies and ink.

I love your fanart of LOTR.
