on my canson montval sketchbook (very hard to paint and blend on cellulose paper again after having delighted with 100% cotton !)

WIP or were the grapes left unpainted on purpose. I kind of like it that way as it gives it a spontaneity.

I kind of like the unfinished version. But I also like black and white photographs or sketches with just a spot of color in them. This is the opposite of that and I find that I like it too - never realized that before now.

The leaves are fabulous. The fruit lacks the same punch. Just my opinion. It is still a lovely still life.
