Ai, my sister had it for some reason. She gave it to me a few years ago. It is one of the few things I have. Thanks.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #603: Sep 18 - 26

Thanks everybody.

Joan T, beautiful landscape (as always) and nice hat and calculator, CASIO makes good quality things.

Jo, You had forgotten what I never knew (I had to look thyme up), your Spanish might be a little rusty but it sure is there, somewhere in the subconscious. Very nicely done on that hat.

Now three quick sketches.
3- this - socket - ink
4- that - light switch - ink
5- car - one in ink and one in pencil.

This was done with Pelikan 4001 brillant black ink (fountain pen ink) and a Pentel water brush. Very small, just 33mm or 1.3 inches width.
European socket and light switch.

These are two cars. They are hideous, but I am posting anyway because looking at them I have learned several lessons for the future (like stop using my pen as it was a pencil, I need to focus on the line, and that I need to use the pencil to measure angles and distances).
Pen and pencil on a 14x9cm or 5.5x3.5 inches notebook.

individuo: Nice cars...love the comparison...we all learn from our mistakes. You are brave...I try to be brave of posting my items too (not all come out OK). Nice outlet and switch.

All: Thanks for joining along this Hunt. See ya at the next Hunt.

individuo, the cars are great. To me they are more difficult to draw than a person. Indefinite lines, etc. Fun to see how you work.

Ai, thanks for the Hunt!

One last one, in the big book with the Prismacolor 05.

Number 6 - cane, one that Gene got in Tombstone, AZ, on this last trip. It has a photo of Wyatt Earp on the handle and a sword/dagger inside.

Jo, thanks. Beautiful cane, is that blade sharp or just ornamental?

Ai, thanks. Thank you very much for hosting, it was fun to play.

individuo, yes, it is a little bit sharp, but not like a knife. Dangerous, anyway. :-) It is just for Gene's collection. The bullet holder on the gun turns, but no way to insert bullets. All for show. This is the guy that said definitely no more collections and must have about 50 canes now. Sigh......
