Re: Scavenger Hunt #603: Sep 18 - 26

Ai, thank you. I am lucky to be around so many different sketching locations. You did a great job on the sketch of the inside of the restaurant. I love all the red glasses and that you didn't do the color in the entire scene.

Jo, thanks so much. The store I sketched looked like a fun place. I haven't been inside it yet.

Ai, thanks. Unfortunately we haven't been able to taste the oysters. Ruth and Chuck promise we will have a tasting party at their home soon. lol

EP, nice sketches. I like the brim of the hat that hides the noodles. lol Thank for your comments! It was a fun outing.

EP: Thanks ... Nice still-life set, exp. the hat and thyme envelope. I agree noodle can be a challenge in itself when sketching

Thanks everybody.

Jo, love the ink sketches, especially the opener and the stools.

Ai, wonderful sketch in the cafe, so much detail and so very well done.

Joan T, beautiful set of landscapes, love them all.

EP, great composition, who would have thought that those items could work so well together?

Ai, your room at the cafe is amazing. Love the hatching!

Joan, the oyster farm is so cool. Fun to see the different views and workers.
The Foster Ave. is lovely. Nice lines on the calculator and hat.

EP, looks like a Tilley Hat. I had one I got in the early 90s and it got worn and dirty. I sent it back about a year ago and they sent me a new one! I had to pay $10. Fun sketch.

individuo, I like the Thyme bottle and shadow. Nice ellipses. I had forgotten the name in Spanish. Thanks. My Spanish is menos, menos instead of mas o menos.

I'll be back.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #603: Sep 18 - 26

Sketched in the big book with a Micron 02 at home.

Number 5, hat - one I had for Easter when about 11 years old. Straw and navy blue ribbon that tied under my chin. Little artificial flowers that might have been pink.
