This is a watercolour I did this afternoon, memorialising the tragedy of the Cathedral of Notre Dame fire. As an architect and as an artist it really struck a chord.
My source image was something I saw on a video on Global News, when the camera turned to the altar, and the cross was still standing, smoke all around, and the light which was so theatrical and surreal.

but the cross still there unhurt
ideas is like the stars in Heaven, just grab one and hang on and if it do not work out grab another one:)
