Re: Dancers Gathered

Thanks Virginia and Michelle I dropped a cat-with-dragon drawing into the dragon thread I've resurrected, if you feel like taking a peek at another kitty.

Re: Dancers Gathered

I have some Tree Dancer concepts I want to work on, so there are preliminary drawings to be done. Which means developing a series to get a sense of what to do with them. This is the first one - "Dancer Series I" graphite 9"x12"

Re: Dancers Gathered

Thank you Tresgatos (I have a pair of ginger tabby brother cats at home myself - Ulysses is currently napping in the place he has claimed under our Charley Brown Christmas tree )

Hi Virginia If you've missed any of the dancers in the thread I can comfortably assure you that updates from time to time in this thread will give you opportunity to give them another gander, so to speak

Thanks Dianna Not really clear what my style is to an outside eye. I do know I like to draw, and that drawing can unfold in different ways

I'm posting here a drawing that is a bit of an exercise. I'm looking at the dancer's form, and wondering how that form might help tell the stories I'm finding I have to tell. Thanks to anyone who takes the time to have a look

Re: Dancers Gathered

These are all quite good, and a very expressive emagination with nature.

Re: Dancers Gathered

Hi Yvonne Thanks for looking.

I appreciate that, Edge I realized this thread really doesn't have a lot of Dancers gathered in it, so I'm going to poke about my files and what else I find tucked away into corners

Here's a related set of Tree Dancer images that I like the look of.
New Spring
First Steps
Gracious Haven
