I can log in but almost immediately get logged out again. I log back in and everything is ok until I try to post or reply to a post, then I get thrown out again. It means that I am constantly having to log back in. I tried emptying my internet cache, etc but it makes no difference. I am on an Android tablet. I contacted Wetcanvas yesterday morning but haven’t heard anything yet.

i had problems connecting earlier, “the site is not responding”. the error message was interesting and the same every time: cloudfare working, server in Moscow is working, wetcanvas.com not working. i’m not in moscow! not anywhere near. nor is it a nearest megahub to the world. i don’t do backups into cloud, have disabled all available choices to disconnect from cloud. i’m sure it was phishing. started surfing using browser mode incognito, the problem appeared only once after that.C&C welcome

August 23, 2018 at 12:40 pm #679411Hi there, I was still having problems this morning. I am giving the incognito tab a try. I will see what happens in a mo! I reported the problem via the “contact us” form.

I am going to try logging out and trying again in a normal tab.

August 23, 2018 at 2:22 pm #679410Poosibly all your cookie space is full so wetcanvas can’t see your cookie. Clear your temporary files in your browser. Make sure you check “Remember me” when you log in.
August 23, 2018 at 2:52 pm #679416Thanks Jon. I have tried that several times but it makes no difference. My next thing to try will be a different browser as JMW suggested.

From Prayer Before Birth by Louis Macneice.August 23, 2018 at 3:35 pm #679424the incognito means “they” 😊 can’t find you as long as you’re in that tab. if you switch to an ordinary tab, you’re in a visible space.
not only do i use it, after the one hickup i now open chrome before connecting. the first tab opened by chrome is always an ordinary one. i close it and open an incognito.
then i connect to the web.
when you close an incognito page, it removes all cookies you gained while surfing on that tab.i’m a droid as well. which browser do you use now?
reporting a similar chain of incidences as Kay, i open a thread and there are more posts than the forum listing showed. i’m familiar with everyday happenstances due to frequent short surfs, so it was not a refresh issue. the pages acted slow that time as well. twice, maybe three times that happened.
C&C welcome
August 23, 2018 at 3:44 pm #679417Hey ronsu, I usually use Chrome.
"I am not yet born; provide me, with water to dandle me, grass to grow for me, trees to talk to me, sky to sing to me, birds and a white light in the back of my mind to guide me." From Prayer Before Birth by Louis Macneice.August 24, 2018 at 6:30 am #679425how’s it going? chrome is reliable, of course it might be subject to malware and nasties.
going through the basics just in case;
history was mentioned so i take it you opened it and cleared everything?
you have updated everything or have autoupdate on?
you have a virus app or you might download a trial version for a month, with this i’d like someone else to chime in, i can only recommend FSecure.not sure if there’s much traffic here in site tech..? just want to hear you’re ok. after family, there’s nothing quite like computer stress, it can be so annoying.
C&C welcome
