I saw several delightful paintings of this fellow and just had to give him a try.

8″ x 10″, watercolor on Arches 140# cold press, probably 2 – 3 hrs.

Anne, that’s beautiful. I love the clean lines you got on his face, that was the part that when I studied the reference I couldn’t do anything with. Wonderful animal. Beautiful job on the face harness too. Nice loose washes behind him, that’s elegant the way you set him off.
