8×8 watercolor on Italia 140 lb cold press paper done a few days ago using White Nights paints. It was snowing where we were in the mountains so easy to imagine this pair of lovebird cardinals watching out for each other nestled into a snowy pine tree. I bought the 8×8 pad along with a 12×16 pad and the smaller one is awful as if the paper has something wrong with it. Colors seem to sink into it. The 12×16 pad is wonderful as Magnani paper always is. Anyone else ever notice this :confused:
