Blue Tit-WIP
I've started another bird, this is 10.5 x 12.5 with pastel background on mi teintes. Like the retriever I just finished I'm using less layers than I usually do, about 6 or so. I still dont have the hang of feathers but I'm not striving for perfection, lol! Hope you like so far.....

Re: Blue Tit-WIP
Looks beautiful Lexy, I love the way you've done the background, you've achieved that great depth but out of focus look. I'll definitely be following this one.

As George mentioned the depth of field is beautifully rendered. Gonna be a beauty.

Re: Blue Tit-WIP
As others have already said, the depth is fantastic and I really like the fluffy look of his feathers.

Re: Blue Tit-WIP
Lovely! Hey....didn't you say that you were giving up pastel for a while after the Retriever background issues?
