Getting back to boats I thought I'd have a go. I've changed it to blue. Same brushes, altered the color in Photoshop and freehand

Barry she looks terrific and that blue boat is great ... a little lighter and it would be kinda like Monet, I think it was Monet who had cataracts and seen everything with a blue tinge..

Bev those lips are gorgeous, I still havn't tied them

Jean and Marge Thanks. The dark bit is the refelction Because the boat is blue it darkens the reflection, though perhapps I've overdone it?

Just a quick study....trying to keep it loose as always and trying a more stylised approach....

If you have painter IX, you can watch how I painted this by visiting the scripts thread:

Mark, the painting is beautiful. I look for the script but it is actually a link to a larger image.

I ran it and watched the progress. It was great. I noticed you used only two brushes. I will give them a try. I like the effect you achieved with them.

Re: pAiNt tHiS! cHapTeR 16

Thanks Janet....yeah, those are the two brushes I use the most...for me they give me a more realistic oil experience. Thanks for taking the time to download and watch the script...I appreciate it.

Mark - I have watched all of your scripts. I find it fascinating to watch how other artists work.
