Re: The Digital Sketch Thread

Wow, this is one of the best threads I've seen so far. Fantasic sketches...

At work now and can't enter any, but I have bunches of sketches...I throw them out real quick in my program and go to the next page...sometimes they lay dormat for some time before I come back and eyeball them. Sometimes they get finished...sometimes they don't...but I guess that's the idea of a sketch...IMHO.

Another hero. Could not wait patiently for the next comicbook. I was hooked.

Well, I've been using the Acecad Flair for a little over a year. It still costs around $40. The stylus is a little bulky since it is an active stylus and contains a battery, but the thing I like about it is it's cordless. I've done almost 100% of my work using this input device. Ive also got the Adesso 12000 and it goes for about $160 but it's huge...and personally I found it almost too big. I use it with a reduced active area...

Hope that helped...

Actually, I like Kato better. I guess he deserves a sketch as well. You are right about Spirit.

Sheldon, this is soft and dreamy. Quite the interesting pose. Life drawing class?

Re: The Digital Sketch Thread

I have a Wacom Graphite and Corel Painter 9

I just cant find the right brush setting to sketch. I have tried pencil, color pencil - it just ain't giving me the right feel !

Do you guys have a fav setting for sketching (particularly in editorial cartoon style)
