Re: Classy Glass Class

What a bunch of champion wee students y'all are

Wanda, for the pink bottle, what I'd do is put in the main colour (leaving the brightest highlights, or masking them or putting them in in indented white, however you like) and put it on pretty thickly then start adding the other colours, dark and light to it. You're going to laugh at how simple this is once you get going!

Meisie you're a marvel

Katherine, you can have as many ticks as you like hehe Well one each for big bold, black paper and glass anyway!

Karen you go girl

This is going to be such fun We're already up to the fifth page of this thread and we've only got one example so far hehe

Re: Classy Glass Class

meisie, that's a great job you've done - the lemons remind me of this serving tray that we have which i'm always admiring - i'll be watching closely to see how the "blues" go...

cheers,
gord

Re: Classy Glass Class

Meisie, nice . . . . The one lemon in the middle (half in bowl and half out) seems a little too distorted, but I can't remember the ref. photo so it might be that way in real life too. They look so lovely and buttery though.

Re: Classy Glass Class

That poor lemon does look the worse for wear If you look closely you'll see several discrepancies with the original...I call it 'freedom' teehee

Re: Classy Glass Class

Meisie - you've definitely inspired me to have a go at the black paper! So that's a big picture of glass on black paper - if I keep saying it often enough it'll get done before the end of the weekend!

Re: Classy Glass Class

Okay I made a muddy mess of the first one cuz I didn't wait for any advice. I am going to need to BE commited after this one. Maybe I'll try the next one on black. I'll show them both when I get it done. Little slower than usual. I have four boards with *Quality Roofing and Construction Co.* laying in my garage I need to finish. Meisie that is really looking great!!

Re: Classy Glass Class

I've decided to try this photo by 'mustcreate' in the RIL.

It's been in my 'to-do' file for a while.

Is it OK?

I think it's perfect! Can't wait to see you working on this one! You may have to fend off everyone else who wants to do it too now hehe Especially Karen, she seems to have a glass collection obsession
