An another small temple just beside the sea 9/12 on Canson Montval, I still didn't find the right color for shadows on building, I'll learn !

I think you need to mix a blue/grey tending towards the blue for shadows. I usually use ultramarine and burnt sienna with a touch of permanent rose. Darker shadows emphasise the sunlight. I don't think you need so much texture in the trees.

Zelda - I agree with Doug about the shadows and I also feel the large expanse of green hillside rather overpowers the picture. IMO I would zoom in a bit and show more of the buildings and less of the green background.

The idea is prima -
but put some dark glaze on the hill and a little more shade to the buildings.
The church is the hero in the picture, so put forward.
