Western Redcedar in walnut ink

Walnut ink with brush and sponge and a white Conte pencil. About 6x5".

Thanks all.
Tuscanny: I used store-bought ink, the Tom Norton kind. I'm having enough trouble with my art to want to add yet another dimension.

Re: Western Redcedar in walnut ink

This is wonderful! Really rich and warm, with striking pops of lighter values throughout. Well done!

Very nice. It gives a strong impression of mellow afternoon sunlight.
