Children's Book Illustration - Character development

I created this illustration for a children's book, and represents the main character in the book. The "boy" was initially done in Pencil and Charcoal, and scanned into PhotoShop for the colorization and background development. And yes, that's my ugly mug in the picture in the background!) hehehe -
