Re: Scavenger Hunt #322 July 19-27

Jeanne - Thanks. LOL I understand completely...you notice I haven't sketched my lunch yet either.

This was done en plein air today when I went out with my group to White Cap Fish Market in Islip. This was one of the views I liked. We plan to go back next week.

12 - baskets - watercolors
13 - trash bin

Re: Scavenger Hunt #322 July 19-27

Very nice Bonnie. That brush looks really bristle-y which is hard to do. And you got a lot finished.

This has been a realllllly slow hunt like the last one. Come on everyone, don't let these become a thing of the past. I know I have been lax but we have to keep these going.

Just to check in and let you know all is fine. Just busy and no sketching time. This looks like fun...... sigh

Bonnie - Thank you. You got a lot done. Nice!!

Jeanne - I think the summer is keeping people busy. I know I haven't been doing much sketching indoors at all.

Re: Scavenger Hunt #322 July 19-27

Anviss, lovely fruits and veggie. Beautiful purple colors.

Kivrin, yummy pizza and excellent perspective on the box. Nice bowl of bananna and tomato. Boy, you got great texture on the socks with that art Graf stick.

Meisie, I like your scissors. Good shading. Great digi work. I thought the nectarines were done with "real" pastels. Hmmm.

Jeanne, loved your coner of your room with all the fun stuff. Nifty cart for plein air.

Paul, you are doing so great with the watercolors. Excellent. The sand sculpture is great, my smile for the day.

Joan, nice line drawings. You give so much detail with such few lines. They you pop in a watercolor and fill our day with color. Fun. Looks like a good spot for lunch. Your sharp, looks really sharp! Pretty leaf. Good hand with cutlery, and the fruit and veggie. The baskets and trash bin is a super sketch.

Gaby, difficult brush. Good shine on the knife and interesting key.

Bonnie, you really took off for the end. I like the colors and ink together. Different colar and buttons. Cute tunnel sketch. Ooooh a sword. Nice kleenex and good on the brush, they are hard I think.

I did a few for this Hunt. First with the iPad and Brushes on the porch. Then with a ball point pen in the sketchbook this morning.

Number 1, plant - vine on the fence
Number 2, from neighbor's yard, the clothes line and fence.

Then numbered wrong because I forgot about the digital sketch.
Number 3, leaf
Number 4, elbow - mine is so round you can't see the bone. Sigh....
Number 5, table leg - folding table, weird how well it stands up. It has much better balance than I do. Ha.

Jeanne, thanks for the Hunt. You keep me going!! See all y'all next Hunt!
