Castlewood Park Colorado

I did this from a reference photo that I took last year. I deviate from the pic a little. Adding more color and changing the composition. I hope you like it .

Nice one Marzouq. I like the complimentary colors used with your palette here.

Re: Castlewood Park Colorado

Nice work, probably it is probably the picture, it looks like too dark values given to background trees.

Re: Castlewood Park Colorado

Very nice complimentary colors in this one, great depth (wondeful soft edges and color in the background), a wonderful peaceful place. Like it a lot, because very well done. A question, what colors you used, a limited palett?

Rudi

Re: Castlewood Park Colorado

Ron – thanks, the actual photo did not have the colors. I just added that to make it more interesting.

John - thank you for the kind words.

Michko – thanks for the comments. Its not the pic, it is actually dark. I think it will look better with lighter value.

Latha – thanks you, I really appreciate it.

Ralph – thanks. I really love your work, can’t wait for the next one.

Vlad – thank you.

Rudi – thanks for the comments. Regarding your question, I use all primary and secondary colors in addition of black and white, sometimes I add burnt sienna and crimsons.

Thanks again

Marzouq
