Sept.13, 2012
Good morning everyone. We're closing in on the closet. I primed the insulation yesterday and today our "guy" is going to hang paintable wall paper. I thought the mattress set was coming today but it's tomorrow.
I work the gate at the fair tonight but it should be pretty slow - no concert.
Enjoy. Ciao

Mornin' Yah I know I haven't been here....
Hi Ellen! I forgot it's fair time again. This is the fair with the fries, right?
All this week I've been ahead of myself so I was a little disappointed when I got to work this morning and someone told me it was Thursday. How did THAT happen lol.
I've been trying a new style of beads for me. Kinda/Sorta JC Herrell inspired. I'll try to get pics posted before the end of the REAL weekend.

Re: Sept.13, 2012
Morning everyone.
Ellen sounds like you will be able to have a nice sleep on your new mattress by the weekend. Hope the time at the gate goes by quick for you. Those slow nights always seem to drag.
Duane I am on the opposite end of the week. I am looking at the calendar and saying "where did that week go???". Ill be looking for your beads in the showcase.
Well last night the instructor basically "turned us loose". What he has us doing is he has basically set out an assignment. Make a drinking glass, but you determine the shape and how you want to make it look. In other words we have to personalize the glass. Bit of a challenge as most of us are still fumbling around, but it was a lot of fun. It will be interesting to see where we each go by the end of the four week session.
Have a good one

Carlos....sounds like fun....can't wait to see how yours is personalized....
Ellen....even a slow night at the fair can bring interesting people...one of my favorite places to "people watch"
Duane...hello! good to hear from you
Well today is errands and shopping ...then a possible auction tonight....I don't think anything will match my ginormous roll of bubble wrap from the last one
Hugs to all

Re: Sept.13, 2012
Morning Everyone!
Ellen....enjoy a slow night at the fair! I am sure you are looking forward to your new bedroom. A little more work and you will be ready for no stiar bathroom runs in the middle of the night!!! How you will love having your laundry on the same floor as your bedroom!!
Duane.....my weeks get all screwed up and I have to look at my phone to keep on task! That's what you have to look forward to when you are retired!
Carlos.....can't wait to see your glass! Such creative freedom is rare in a artistic class setting!
Karen....have fun at the auction! Maybe you can find a ginormous roll of duct tape this time around! LOL
I am dragging behind, looking at trailer photos with hubby....getting ideas for the trailer!! I think we are hitting the treasure trail today, but hubby is fighting a cold and he isn't moving real fast.......we will see!
I had a good lunch with my sister, daughters and grandsons! Then I went with Xavier to his gymnastic class! He is doing great, I have my Olympic reservations for 12 years down the road. He has his TaDaaa's down perfect! LOL
Todd is on his way back to the Sand Box, and I will be counting down the days until he comes back home!
Have a great day everyone!

Re: Sept.13, 2012
Way late this morning..... 3rd workout this week :-) trying to be a good girl.
Off to Sam's or Costco or both.... then hit the torch and wire up some fishies, tag and price... Try to squeeze in some fusing as I just bought some bags of scrap dichro.
Have a good one. Chilly here this morning but supposed to be nice this weekend. The rain was wonderful!

Re: Sept.13, 2012
Afternoon Everyone.
Ellen, sounds like you'll have a nice new bedroom when it is done, and sounds like the end is near! Hope all goes smoothly at the fair tonight.
Morning Duane.
Carlos, being turned loose sounds like a lot of fun. I doubt I ever try the "big glass" work, but it is very interesting to watch. How's your glass turn out?
Karen, auctions are fun. You just never know what you will come home with. Hope you get to go and find something fun.
Dilly, your post made me smile. TaaDaa is one of the first things I taught my kids to say. lol I'm sure watching Xavier was a good outing.
Janie, other than Project Runway it sounds like a busy day. Glad you got your down time scheduled in there!
Leslie, 3 days of workouts=good job! Send a little rain my way please.
I'm at work but need to be at home. The principal from the kids school to tell me Casey was caught cutting class. She was suspended for the rest of the day. It was that or 2 swats. I won't let the school swat so my parents went and got her. I'm not sure what to do with her. She did this once in the spring also and I thought she'd learned her lesson. It won't be very pleasant when I get home...anyone want a teenager for a few days?
