Mary, I love it and Viv yours is special, too! Now to search for one that might do the trick.

Here's one of a thunderstorm in ink, flipped:

Next is one reminding us of Spring

Re: And the next sketch is ......

the local urban sketchers are setting challenges and this was my response to one - I really like lost edges and different light Smokey curled up in my deskl chair and the low light of the table lamp

digital sketch again I'm afraid

next is a view of your home indoors .....

Fun cut out flowers and stems, Mary

Love your indoor sketch featuring one of the cats, Viv, very impressive and does not look like a digi at all.

Here is a demo w/ mixed media I did for my class of roses in front of black lacquer French settee.

Next is about flowers

Re: And the next sketch is ......

well this is a work in progress. I joined a contemporary embroidery group who are doing challenges. I am not experienced in this but thought now is the time to have a play

I'd cut a 24in square canvas off the stretcher - an old oil painting, unfinished, that I wasn't happy with. I can stretch new canvas over the bars

I ended up with piece about 12 ins square that is worth continuing painting and some offcuts.

So I'm using the offcuts with embroidery and collage over. This is a piece about 10x3 ins

the painting was a seascape, the piece of canvas was rotated 90 deg and drawn on with a sharpie. It's now about bluebell woods at dusk

and this is where it's at now - lots more to do

and the next is dusk again as it's a lovely light .....
