Re: Stitch in Time February 2020

That's a bit better for him! My husband goes back to work tomorrow. he's doing pretty good.

I ended up being able to get in to the eye doctors on Tuesday, I called for an appointment just as someone had cancelled so that was great, usually it takes a good month or so to get in. My new glasses should be in soon. I got the anti glare coating so hopefully that helps. I got the transitions lenses too since my eyes are so sensitive to light. I bought red frames because I felt colorful.

Re: Stitch in Time February 2020

Virginia, glad you got those eyes checked and new glasses on the way. That's great the hubby is recovered enough to go to work.

So, DH goes to get some stuff at the Health Food Store, then the grocery store. Comes out of the Health Food Store and his truck doesn't start. It's not the battery because he has lights and stuff. He's only 3 blocks from home so walks home. Calls the repair place. They can't get to it till the next day. Fine, we have my car. It won't start. This time it is the battery. He misses work. Next day have the truck towed to the mechanic. The mechanic says he doesn't know what's wrong the truck started up just fine. Got the car jumped, drove to parts store, replace battery. Was able to get to the grocery store. It's like the vehicles knew we were getting a tax refund. Even tho' the truck started for the mechanic, further testing showed the starter is about to die. Getting that replaced and will have the truck back tomorrow. I think I've had enough. Can I just go play with some fabric or something?
