December 3, 2019 at 12:51 pm #914470Mike, your palette is wonderful, the light fantastic. I live in Wales with Hereford post code. Many years ago I made some comment to you about Edward Wesson, whom you admired. I had watched many of his demos years ago and have one of his paintings. Just looking back again at your lovely painting, I wonder if the child is about to go backwards down this side of the hill? It would be just as much fun!

Best wishes

USADecember 3, 2019 at 2:16 pm #914469This certainly put a smile on my face, Mike. I love the way it’s painting and enjoyed traveling back in time. As a child, the whole neighborhood of kids would get together and sled down a farmers hill in his cow pasture. What fun and great memories!

C&C WelcomedDecember 3, 2019 at 3:38 pm #914489December 3, 2019 at 4:00 pm #914478Super! Just right to my eye. Almost need to squint if I look to the right. Your perspective, handling on strong light and shadow is superb. That bush on the right _ how it is painted with the indication of light is quite yummy! Reminds me of winters on the farm in Ontario, Canada.:)
