Too much pink?

Looking for a little feedback.
What do you think of the pink flowers? Are there too many, to few, or just right?

Re: Too much pink?

The pink offers a gentle contrast to the dark trees and shadowed grass. Nicely spaced around, not checker boarded. Looks good to me.

Re: Too much pink?

This is a beautiful painting, but I am going to disagree with the other comments. If I am looking into the middle distance where the trail enters the forest, I would not be looking down essentially at my feet. So, I would move those flowers down the path a bit. It's really a minor quibble and reflects my own personal feelings on composition, so feel free to ignore my comments. I'm sending you a PM with a mock-up of what I mean.

Don

If your looking for a critique, then I'm your guy, lol. But! it looks like you've done my job for me. Knock down the foreground pink flowers that are in the shade and Viola! Good job!

Re: Too much pink?

The pinks don't bother me, but maybe take the path all the way back, but avoid a repetitious zig zag feeling..
