I didn’t get many paintings done last year because we sold our farm and we shifted into a house in the city. But here’s one I liked. It was painted for the July Watermedia Challenge.

I chose this from last January as it contrasts a warm flower without color as we are in the first month and still winter. 9×7 watercolor/ink on paper.

Dying Sunflower field – my favourite because I had a lot of fun expressing colours on my first attempt with Lanaquarelle.. 550 x 380 mm

I had so much fun with watermedia last year, but this is my favorite!
Done on WC paper (I believe it is 11 x 15), with acrylics, inks that I blew around, Inktense pencils and some watercolors.

                Moonlight

Part of the ongoing experimentation – watercolour and gold ink + folding and cutting of the paper surface.

As long as there is light, I will paint it.
