Claudio that is a great piece. Quite impressive especially considering the time spent on it. You need to post the hours you spent in January on the little girl that you painted.
Also Shane and Shani need to post their hours for coloring pages. I know I spent 4 hours on my one coloring page and they have done several so let's find out the hours on it.

I probablt have eight hours worth of coloring in for Jan. I also did a buch of playing (smooshing paint).... but I refuse to count it cuz I wasn't learning... just venting stress.

Today finishes off the 31st for everyone so if I can have final totals posted by tomorrow night I'd appreciate it. I'll declare the winner and they can start February's contest

This makes my total for the month of January 97 hours or just a little over 3 hours a night.
Thanks for doing this Penny it did motivate me to paint more this month.
I still have some unfinished pieces to work on but next month I am hosting a classroom in the acrylic forum so I will be busy with the classroom assignments.

I went back to work this month after a few months of sickness leave, so I could'nt airbrush as much as I would like, but with this duck that you did, I would have never been able to win this contest...

That's just too many hours for me.

97 hours! Awesome job! This was a good thread. I think it inspired me to set a 2hr per night goal.

I stopped at my art supply today and bought the prize

I told the art store what we were doing and the contests we've been having, they thought it was a great idea. Karin landed us a winner! Thanks Karin.

I'm proud of everyone and I think allot of good has come out of this months contest. My "PRIZE" is seeing Shane and Shani our resident "misfits". I truly couldn't be more proud of what they started and I encourage everyone to join in if only for a night. There is no course in the world that can sell what they are getting out of it add in the bonding/buddy system and they're course is golden!

Can anyone beat Sam's 97 hours? If not, Sam's going to be hosting a February's contest along with acrylic classroom LOL.

Just wanted to let you all know that I got the January prize today, thank you Penny. It was a set of 5x5 inch white clayboard. I am sure you will be seeing it here in the forum soon. My wife recommends that i use it for the fur demonstration. She would love to see a black lab appear on at least one of them. Thanks again for the contest, Penny and for the clayboard. It helped me get some of those pieces done that needed to be finished.
