Moving back to California!

We are moving back to the SF bay area, (south bay), my husband and I are very excited as we have been missing our old haunts and friends.

Now, while I love the weather up here in Washington state, I am looking forward to great plein air painting days and best of all the ocean will be just over the hill from where we will be living!!!

I am hoping to find some people in the area who would like to get together and go plein-airing with me

Anyone here in the sf south bay area?

Re: Moving back to California!

Patrice - you're going to love painting around here. There are two painting groups you might like to check out:

- Los Gatos Art Association (LGAA - paints plein air on Mondays)
- Penninsula Outdoor Painters (POPs - paints plein air on Tuesdays)

With both groups you can just find the dates and locations on the website and show up to paint with the group. Great way to meet new people and find painting locations.

Re: Moving back to California!

Thank you so much Timon! My husband will be working in Los Gatos and we are trying to find a place to live in that general area!

I can't wait to get down there now, hopefully our house sells soon!

Im too far north, but welcome back, I will be moving to Oregon this year, a whole new coast to paint than the forbidding Sonoma edge where I cut my seascape teeth

Colleen! I am bummed you will be moving, but the Oregon coast is so gorgeous and with all the trees you will have very different seascapes, and lots of fun painting them!
