2.5x3.5" 70lb sketching paper. Gouache sketch. Meant to test it out and re-paint larger, but had to babysit and time ran away from me. Paper's so thin watercolor would not have worked here.

Thanks for the images, Kay. Might still do the cat sleeping.

Tried to make it smaller in Picasa, but this is as small as it gets there.

EP, when the colors are the same, it doesn't matter if your shapes are exactly right. I just start at the left and keep going, lost or not

With Cat's quilted jacket, I never made an outline, just did it one quilt piece at a time and it came out OK.

Lovely colors... real glow... and so small...never could manage that size format.... I don't like Picassa editing ...really don't know why.... have you tried Infanview for re sizing??
