help needed from my pastelling chums
HELP!!! I have written an article for a UK art magazine, and they want me to illustrate it with photos.............of painting workshops in progress. I dont have many really good ones on my computer, so if by chance you have a decent photo of a group painting on a painting course or painting holiday, I would be VERY VERY grateful if you would allow me to use it? If you do, please can you send it to me by email? jackiesdesk at gmail.com I only need a couple more, so would really appreciate this.
thanks
Jackie

Re: help needed from my pastelling chums
I've never been part of a painting group.... *frowns, and crys in a corner*
hehe.
I'm hoping to sign up for a Pastel class this summer though, and if not that a watercolour class - depends on my work schedule though and if I can make it fit.

I sent a photo of a plein air demonstration just a few hours after your first post. I did not receive a notice of non delivery. Possibly in your junk email folder.

Re: help needed from my pastelling chums
sorry, I never thought of taking photos.
maybe better to have a look at blogs, there must be many photos there and just ask the blog's owner for permission.

Re: help needed from my pastelling chums
I have a suspicion that the people on my photos won't be too happy to find themselves in a magazine. Maybe the reason you don't get many replies.

Re: help needed from my pastelling chums
I haven't been involved in a painting group since the 1980s and back when I did, I didn't have a camera. Now that I live here, I might create one or join one. I've got a painting buddy already and have hopes. Just wish I could help.
Looking forward to your article though, hope it goes online and you can link to it after the issue's in print or that you get it back when their print rights run out and can share it.
