A few of us have talked about an April challenge that Earl suggested should be either a ‘self or significant other’ portrait. As its April Fools Day I did think of posting a picture of me in my speedos frolicking amongst the daffodils but I held back for the sake of those with of a nervous disposition.
Instead I’m posting a self portrait which I actually drew over 4 years ago in pastel on an A2 sheet. Let’s see what you can do guys. keep well

As I think this might be boring to look at again, I’ll share another one (that might fit in to this Figure group), that I did a few years ago…I do hope I’ll have the motivation to draw a fresh one before this thread ends…hope everyone is safe and healthy.

I’ts never boring to look at your work again Constance and the second one is superb, I love your treatment of the ear – many artists have difficulty with ears, even many of the great names. I love the colouring too
