Lovely subjects, perhaps some more variation in the values of the blues to indicate the shapes more? And some grounding with shadow of the objects. Coming along very nicely!

Thanks for you comment Lynn. My camera is to blame for the blue “haze”. I should probably try another pic using the flash. If it helps I’ll repost.

I think it’s beautifully done…very good drawing & love the turquoise necklace. I do agree with Lynn about varying the values & esp strengthening your shadows. This is really nice though & I love the subject matter.

Cindy, I imagine this is closer to the actual painting. “RAW” images taken with cameras, usually don’t produce accurate images.

What a difference Rich’s photo makes. It’s a lovely painting and the composition is very interesting. I agree with Lynn and Maribeth about the shadows.
