Hi All,
Just a fun little sketch of Onions using Inktense pencils.
Paper: Canson C a grain 180 GSM. (Although its a dry media paper, it handled the waterbrush fairly well)Thanks for looking.

Thanks Vena, the intense color is mostly accompanied by intense taste as well
Thanks Joan, the sliced onion was easier due to nature of Inktense, since they provide rich color once wet and don’t dissolve/spread as readily as watercolor pencils.

September 22, 2018 at 11:20 am #696686Lovely! I have a bunch and am going to play more with them, I’ve only used them for illustrations that were for an event.
I had to make a chart, the colors can really change once the water is on.

I like Inktense pencils, but figured that they belonged in the Watermedia forum.

October 6, 2018 at 11:01 pm #696688KJ, that’s just an assumption of my own, and not based on any rule I’ve read or any such! Your Inktense work seems to have been very favorably received here in this forum.
IOW, don’t listen to me

- Otto RankOctober 7, 2018 at 7:51 am #696697I don’t think there is a problem showing works done with either watercolour or Inktense pencils on this forum. Both can be used dry. Not sure about pastel pencils. Elaine will have to come in with an answer.
