Re: Paint Together --- All Welcome

Thankyou, Mimi - really Too Kind!!

Go on, Leigh- now I want to see the Lg and the mimi one??? I have been off painting landscapes to try and get over my tightness - that might be why this is a bit full on - been pushing colours to "casse le vert"

Made some adjustments that probably only I can see - so made it easier "Spot the Difference" Comp - newer one on the RHS

PS sizing change due to poor photoshop skills

Mimi, you look hot

Ah, Lawrence, I see him well!!!

But this looks like classical class bettythecat .... Now I feel like a troglodyte - "Oh for the poseable thumb, when will I evolve???"

Are you saying I need to do more to it (correctomundo) or I is a fuss-ass, moved out of that room so no more tonight

Wow great pastels . Leigh and Mimi and Jenni really like your bold pastels of our man.
I have been fiddeling and adjusting this drawing again. I think I am getting closer. I hope this really helps when and if I ever get to do a pastel of him. What do you think? Jen

I like this one a lot better Jen! Take another look at his nose... I did the same thing, and I think it's cause of the angle and looking up at it - I think it's a bit too long. The rest of it is just great! Hope you get a chance to do it in pastels.

:c lap:

Wow, I shouldn't have left this thread so long! Just over one weekend, this has grown to so many contributions that are wonderful. Leigh, this is a great thread, and thanks so much for starting it, and contributing your tremendously nice work to it! Jeni, just try to not breathe in any of that pastel dust; at least you can't inhale oil!

I'm starting tomorrow on him; I just want to get a little further on The Lady of Shalott tonight, for fear of not finishing it before the Waterhouse thread ends!
