Re: Project Discussion: WC! Tsunami Aid Art Project

Question about the project: Are we going to be setting a price for the paintings, or are they going to be auctioned? How will that work via Art-Agent? (Or will we be given further instructions in a few days?)

Michael-Ann, thank you for the information about Doctors Without Borders. We are going to give them a donation today.

Many thanks to the large committee for your long hours and tireless work to set all this up and see it through!

Jamie

Sorry, skipped this one. I see no reason why you couldn't do that. The more money the merrier. Pls by all means....

they will be auctioned. How that will work through Art-Agent I am not quite sure at this point. It is being set up, so we are expecting news on that in the next few days.
We will pass on the news (and instructions if you like) as we get it and go along.

on behalf of the team

This is going to be beautiful. Love the "butterfly effect" - Have read much on it.

Here's a progress on mine. I feel the need to rationale why I'm choosing something that I worked on a year or so ago. This was absolutely the most peaceful moment in my life, from a picture I took in Ft. Myers Florida in the early morning hunting for seashells. All alone - just me and that bird. LOL I did 2 grisailles, and this one was the first - applying color now. I'm moving the bird - he's smack in the middle of the canvas.

I'm choosing the title "E Pluribus Unum" or "Out of Many, One"

Oh geez, Tina, I remember that one. Isn't it interesting. It's almost as if that painting knew from the very start that it was to serve a higher purpose at a later time. Good luck with this one. I'll be watching for it.

Re: Project Discussion: WC! Tsunami Aid Art Project

Hi Jamie Yeah, strange huh? But if I can protray that emotion, and what I felt standing there that morning, then I of course want to share it and hope that it will give someone as much peace as it has given me. Even as long ago as it has been, I can still close my eyes, and I'm right there. Just one of those kind of moments.

I think it was you, when I first started working on this thing - cause I couldn't get the direction of the water right, that was "in fear for the bird", LOL !!

Thanks,
Tina

Thank you Kat, it seems to have taken a turn from the direction I had intended, but I am still okay with it
