Post Grassfield, tree and electric poles

I´m not quite happy with this. the tree looks a bit fake and the sky colors are too dark.

Looking good; seems like you're trying for a backlit situation, so the tree needs more "halo" effect, and the dark part should be warmer (but still dark). I think at least one of the poles could be more pronounced, to good effect.
I think you've got some good luminosity in the sky.

the picture is a bit blurred because when i took this photo my hand shaked a little. The tree started as a small bush, but it looked too big so I made it a tree instead. my teacher said it looks like a Disney-tree.

This is lovely! I really like what you have done with the sky colors and the grass. I think what bbilly said on the tree makes sense too. What medium is this? Acrylic?

It´s acrylic painted on a 60x100cm chipboard. I have watched movies so much that I usually make the paintings "widescreen". Henche the black top and bottom. This was the first time I tried painting plants. Normally I paint skies and cities(see the "Clouds" topic)

Now that I think of it it does look like a river bank edge.

This has a very nice feeling about it. The only thought that I would have is to have some of the light from the sky shine through the tree since MOST trees are not quite that dense. Looks good!!!!
