        Wow! Love it! I’ve also tried my hand at glass, but the soft lead crystal glass. it takes a steady hand.

                        This is quite stunning. It must take a light, precise touch to engrave on a glass. Wonderful!

                        You might be surprised just how tough glass is. I only ever broke one , and that was because I went too near the top. There is usually a ‘stress’ line just below the top, caused when the rim is re heated to make the rolled ‘lip’. There was a ‘ting’ and a perfect ring came away from the top of the glass

                                        This looks really good Jim. And I love corn buntings! My dad was good at glass engraving but I have never tried, it looks as though it needs a certain delicacy that I don’t possess. :)
