here is a counter top that i made and installed at my job. it is made of copper, and i had to put an acid wash patina on it. it was alot of work, but it turned out beautifully.the homeowner had bought the sink and spigot without ever seeing the finished product and the color matched up nearly perfectly. but i don't think it's art.

As the others have said creativity comes in many forms. This is beautiful, and I would be very proud to have some of your work in my home What a lot of people don't realize is that we are surrounded by art; furniture design, dishes, towels.....etc. All of them came from one mind, and were created for the pleasure of others. Of course that does not compare to work that was done by hand by the artist. It is just an example.

Most of my house is art.

I paint walls, doors, make picture frames...

Like everyone else has said, if you make it , as far as I can see it's art.

I'm sure some would disagree but, I'd like to think that we could all consider our homes to be art, a reflection of us, or else it's sterile isn't it???

Well, of course it's art! now that it's installed, can you imagine this countertop being anyting but copper? it will only become more beautiful as it ages and wears.....add some lighting to highlight it, and snap some pics for your portfolio!
