Re: What are you Working on Today?

I finally found a few minutes to paint. This is what I am working on ATM. It is 12X16 on a black canvas. I've had the black canvas for quite a while and waiting for something to paint on it. Not every subject lends itself to the black canvas. I'm a long way from finished so I am hoping that this improves.....well, actually I am just hoping to find the time to finish it.

This is looking real nice. The sunflower against the black works beautifully.

Re: What are you Working on Today?

Well I did. I put a few more strokes on the canvas today. At the speed I'm going, I should be able to finish by the end of the year.

Re: What are you Working on Today?

Thank you Boa and Lyn! Appreciate your kindness. I may call this finished now, just so I can move on if I find another block of time.

Re: What are you Working on Today?

I am decorating my back fence with a series of message signs and cartoon characters to celebrate the new 28 mile long hiking and biking trail that runs but five feet from my back gate. I thought I would give the hikers and bikers something to smile about.

Thank you and I much appreciate your comment. I hesitated posting my subject as some would not consider sign making and cartooning as true art. I’ve resorted to doing the letter carving and cartooning in order to bust out an extended creative funk. Hey, if plagiarism is not involved what one creates can be considered art in my opinion.

Re: What are you Working on Today?

I'm working on Bargue drawings and a painting at the moment, as well as rough sketches on a painting series.

lol if I could upload pictures, I would. My computer is having a hissy fit apparently.
