I usually do sketches, even “finished” ones on scrap paper, largely due to skill and experience-lack of.:angel: Two things seem to have occurred that might be contributing to using the books: First may be due to my heavy use of scrap paper over time is beginning to pay off, I see progress in seeing and ability to more closely portray what I see, even though is still takes many sketches. The second, I was recently gifted with art supplies, a couple of scrapbooks among the items, and that, combined with my improvement, allow me to use the books. (I’m pretty frugal.)
