A quick sketch of an owl done in watercolour. Lines are done with Lamp Black.

The “ink” marks are Lamp Black watercolour applied with a rigger brush after I placed the colour.

I love how you did your owl, John, as I’ve stated. Your background to me is amazing as a support for the sketch. So full of different colors and shapes it lets the viewer’s eye wander and linger to savor every bit.
