Yes... nothing says *claustrophobia* like the great outdoors

What type of paint do you use?

Re: Claustrophobic Falls

Out of all the works you have posted, I like this the best. The placement of the lights and darks work well in this composition. The flatness of the composition coupled with the congested top, left, and right areas of the painting lends itself to the idea of claustrophobia.

I like it - fresh and pleasing colors, I really think you conveyed the fluid feeling of water. I think it could be quite sellable, too.

Re: Claustrophobic Falls

What size is this?

no matter, just curious.

As a claustrophobic, I actually HAD to look just because of the title! It did not disappoint.

The closer I studied this, the more I appreciate your style. You achieved a sense of depth, motion, texture. I felt the dark area above the water was a place I would not be happy. The water was cooling.

Your style might be considered simple, but as an artist, I appreciate how difficult it is to create a 'simple' look. I really am fond of your style in this one, also.

Thanx 4 posting, this pleaseth our eye, Greg
