Very cute and engaging and the otter is well rendered.
I'm not as crazy about the colours, mostly the yellow in the background - pulls attention away from the otter. Just my 2 cents

Jim, the otter is beautifully painted but I tend to agree with Yvonne , that the yellow in the background is perhaps a little too dominant. Toning it down with a touch of purple would maybe do the trick.

Here is the reference pic. The yellow is actually a greenish yellow. I took the photo again in different light. It looks more yellow in the photo than it really is.
Thatís the water the otter is coming out of
I already sealed it so thereís no going back in.
Iíll try and get a pic in different light also
